At The Watch VIP, our goal is to ensure your watch arrives safely, securely, and as quickly as possible. Due to the high value of the timepieces we sell, we take shipping procedures extremely seriously.


Order Processing Time

Once full payment has been received and cleared, we will make every effort to ship your order within 24 hours.
Our maximum handling time is 48 hours unless otherwise communicated.

If a delay is expected (e.g., weather, watchmaker inspection, fraud checks), we will notify you immediately using the contact details provided.


Shipping Methods

All watches are shipped using FedEx Priority Overnight or an equivalent premium next-day courier service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We use discreet packaging with no reference to watches, jewelry, or high-value goods.


Insurance & Security

Every shipment is fully insured for its purchase value through our third-party insurance partners (e.g., Parcel Pro, Secursus, or equivalent).
Insurance remains active until the moment the item is collected and signed for by the buyer.


FedEx Hold at Location (HAL) — Required for Orders Over $5,000

For high-value products (USD $5,000 and above), we require delivery to a FedEx Hold at Location (HAL) facility for customer pickup.

At pickup, you will be required to present:

  • A valid government-issued photo ID, and

  • Your matching FedEx tracking number

This system significantly increases security and reduces the risk of theft, misdelivery, or fraudulent interception.

Signature Requirements

All shipments require Adult Signature Required (21+).
If no one is available at the shipping address, the courier may attempt redelivery or direct the parcel to a secure pickup location.


Address Verification & Fraud Prevention

For your protection and ours, The Watch VIP may require additional verification for:

  • First-time customers

  • High-value purchases

  • Mismatched billing and shipping addresses

  • Payments from newly created accounts

We reserve the right to ship only to verified or confirmed addresses.
Orders flagged for review may experience a short delay — if so, we will notify you immediately.


International Shipping (If Enabled)

If we offer international shipping, buyers are responsible for:

  • Import duties

  • Customs fees

  • VAT

  • Any other taxes imposed by the destination country

Delivery times may vary based on customs processing.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Shipments

Although all packages are insured, you must notify us within 24 hours of receipt if:

  • The package arrives damaged

  • You suspect tampering

  • The product does not match the shipping condition photos

  • The carrier marks an item delivered but you did not receive it

Claims filed outside of this window may affect insurance coverage.


Inspection Upon Delivery (48-Hour Reporting Window)

All customers are required to inspect their watch within 48 hours of delivery. This includes verifying:

  • Exterior condition (case, crystal, bezel, bracelet/strap)

  • Functionality (winding, setting, timekeeping)

  • Completeness (links, accessories, box, papers)

  • Signs of damage or tampering in transit

If you believe the watch arrived damaged, defective, or not as described, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery using any of our contact channels:

After 48 hours, we cannot accept claims for transit-related damage, missing items, or condition discrepancies, as we cannot verify how the watch was handled or worn after delivery.

This protects both parties and ensures all issues are handled quickly and fairly.


Refused or Undeliverable Packages

If a package is refused or undeliverable due to an incorrect address or failure to collect from FedEx HAL, the buyer is responsible for:

  • Return shipping fees

  • Insurance fees

  • Reshipment costs

We will always attempt to contact you before returning a package to sender.
